What we collect
From client visitors and prospects: name, work email, company, the brief you send us, and standard web analytics (which page you read, for how long), collected with Google Analytics 4.
From candidate visitors and applicants: name, contact details, resume / profile, work history, skill assessments, and any portfolio or code samples you share. All voluntary.
From every visitor: browser, device and approximate location (country or city) for site analytics, collected with Google Analytics 4, which does not store IP addresses. Our contact and newsletter forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. No advertising trackers run on this site.
How we use it
Client data is used only to respond to your brief and run the engagement. Candidate data is used to evaluate fit for current and future engagements (with your consent to retain it).
We do not sell personal data. We do not run targeted advertising. We do not share your information with third parties except (a) sub-processors operating under contract on our behalf (e.g. our ATS provider, and Google for site analytics and spam protection on our forms), or (b) the specific hiring client you've consented to be introduced to.
How long we keep it
Client engagement records: for the duration of the engagement plus seven years (for audit and tax purposes).
Candidate profiles: until you ask us to delete them, or three years after our last interaction with you — whichever comes first.
Web analytics: 14 months (the Google Analytics retention setting), then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to: see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it. Email legal@tekfortune.com and we will respond inside 30 days.
If you are an EU / UK resident, you have rights under GDPR / UK GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA / CPRA including the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell, so this is honoured by default).
Updates
We update this notice when our practices change. Material changes go live with a new effective date and a banner on the homepage for 30 days.
